We are a Western web company who is aiming to grow as well in China as internationally. We are looking for a programmer and web developer with strong knowledge of php, open source content management systems and database design.
Knowledge of open source e-commerce systems and XHTML/CSS is also desirable.
You will be working on projects for our international clients often concerning multi-language cms-solutions. Other projects would include database design, writing customized functions and acting as a technical resource on smaller projects.
We think that you have a few years experience, like to keep yourself up-to-date with the industry and are not afraid to take initiatives and work independently.
The perfect candidate should fit the following requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of PHP
- Has worked with open source software, for example Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, osCommerce
- Deep knowledge in mySQL and SQL, queries and database modeling
- Able to communicate in English
- Experience in asp, asp.net and other scripting languages
- Knowledge of JavaScript/Ajax, web standards, browser compatibility, XHTML, CSS, xml
We're mainly hiring for a full-time position, but freelancers and interns are also welcome to get in touch.
